I grew up in a lively Italian-American household where the kitchen was sacred. Sunday sauces, homemade lasagna, nonstop laughter, and way too much garlic food weren’t just fuel, it was family. So when I knew I had to eat differently to feel better, it hit hard.
Could I give up the comfort food that made me feel at home?
Short answer: no. But what I could do was reinvent it.

Low-carb cooking started as a challenge. My first attempt at keto pizza crust? 🔥 A total disaster. But I kept going experimenting, swapping, learning.
Eventually, I built a kitchen style that felt like mine again satisfying, soulful, and full of flavor. Today, I still eat rich sauces, melty cheese, crispy snacks… and yes, low-carb garlic bread that hits every nostalgic craving.
